Welcome to the Meta4Maps
As far as we know the first metaverse gallery that is devoted to antique maps. A visit to the meta gallery is free, and you can walk around anonymously or by using a nickname, your name, or by creating an avatar. You can interact and speak with other visitors (and you can access it through a browser, so no headset is required).
Connect your collection
Feel free to visit the Meta4Maps space and browse the different 3D galleries or add your map collection (and you can access it through a browser, so no headset is required).
Adding your favorite map to the space is easy and fun to do.
For existing clients of Paulus Swaen we can use your historical purchases to start your gallery. We will create your gallery using your existing Paulus Swaen Username and a direct link to your meta map collection gallery which you can share with friends on social media like Instagram or Facebook. After that, you are able to add and delete items to your liking.

The Map Bar
Take a break and pop in at The Map Bar. Perhaps you will meet other collectors or have a talk with a stranger and have an interesting chat about other things in life.
Collectors meet every Monday at 1 PM (EST) or Amsterdam at 7 PM.
You can speak with other visitors (and you can access it through a browser, so no headset is required).
The Map Auditorium
Feel free to use the meta4maps auditorium if you want to do a presentation on an old and rare map topic, your collection or any other map-related subject. The room is built to enable a 100-person audience who can hear and watch your performance.
Meta4MapsEvent
In case you have created your own map event, feel free to add a billboard, image or a spatial and Meta4Maps so that our visitors know about your event.
Why not create a VR room for your event so you can add a spatial and visitors can go travel directly from one room to another.
So far Meta4MapsEvent has rooms for the Paris Map Fair, Mantova Map Fair and the London map fair.
